Its been awhile and I just found some really old sketches I did back in high school (over a decade ago now at least) and realized they were never uploaded, so thought I'd post them. Go check 'em out.
Makes me want to sketch again, but I know I'm pretty terrible now. LOL Its been so long and I'm more of a digital artist now (I do graphic/web design for a living).

The Start of a New Year... 2013.
Hey guys!
Yes, as I stated in my last post, I'm still here lurking. ;) I just don't do artwork like I used to.
Sadly, now that I'm not depressed or angry, I don't have a lot of ideas (which were normally pretty dark). I still enjoy my old artwork, but I think I have somewhat moved past that "phase/type". Its harder for me now to do that sort of thing, so I guess I need to find my new focus.
I did just get a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet for an early birthday present from my hubby, so I might try to learn to draw with that and when I get something good, post it here. It'll probably be awhile... takes some getting used to!

In personal news, just celebrated my two year anniversary in June with my husband, Ryan. All is well. Bought our first home in May and the next big step is starting a family. :)
So how's the weather?
I'm still around. Married life is great. Can't complain.
Starting the search for a house and approval for a loan. That's about it really. I don't have much time to do art like I used to.

The Wedding Approaches!
The time is coming quickly! I'll be getting married June 26, 2010 and moving in with my fiance. A new chapter in my life and a whole new start. I'm definitely looking forward to it!
We have everything done basically at this point. I just need to write my own vows, we need to pick out songs for the reception, pay for everything, and get our marriage license. That's really about it!
Saturday, May 22nd, my friends are throwing me a bachelorette party in Pittsburgh, so hopefully that'll be fun. :)
Friday, June 4th, I get to try on my wedding gown after the alterations and take it home! That's pretty exciting as well!

I haven't sketched anything in forever either. I'm just not that good at it. Before I took up photography I took up acrylic painting and actually seemed to be pretty decent... looking at the 1 and 1/2 paintings I did lol. There isn't enough time in the day though.
Anything that has the word 'design' in it is really hard for me. I'm just not that good with layouts or typography or even color theory. Which is like 90% of design lol so you got that up on me!
